Steve first took on the garage from his father, Charlie, in October 1983. After purchasing his own MG B GT in 1975 and joining the MG Car Club he became the ‘Go To’ garage for friends and associates - this was the beginning of the garage’s specialist journey. Steve is due to retire on 1st November 2025 to hand the reigns over to Danielle - but we all know you will still see him at the garage!

Lynne first started working at the garage in the office when Steve first took the garage on and has continue to support the family business as a Partner throughout its journey. Lynne will also be retiring from the 1st November 2025.

Lyndsey is our ever cheerful and helpful receptionist and she is likely to be your first contact with us as she answers the phone to book you in and responds to your emails. She is an integral part of the team and Danielle’s right hand woman.

Dave has been with us since December 2025 and has wealth of knowledge having been in the car mechanic world for 41 years. He has also managed multiple branches of a well known garage brand across the UK. He has a great sense of humour and is always happy to help.

Dave has been MOT testing for us for three years now and has proven to be extremely fair and thorough consistently. He is always happy to answer any questions and is dedicated to keeping you safely on the road.

Dave Clarke can be found assisting on MOTs with Dave Shortland and Steve; supporting the garage by keeping it tidy and organised. You may also find him on collection or delivery of vehicles.
